Euronovate Group presents the new Competence Center in Padua for the research and development of all software solutions, from digital authentication to electronic signatures
Euronovate Group chose Padua as the location for its Competence Center. Commissioned by Fabio Gatti, the company's current CTO and pioneer of electronic signatures in Italy, the Competence Center is the research and development key point for all software solutions, from digital authentication to electronic signatures, which are supplied by the company worldwide to more than 200 customers. These solutions are designed to accompany and improve the user experience. “We work on existing processes, helping the company to improve them, but without overturn them -said Andrea Pirone, Euronovate Group Chief of Revenue Officer, because distorting processes means distorting the way in which the company works. And this does not simplify the activities, it complicates them”.
Digitize the process for Conad’s credit card issuing
Euronovate Group's main customers have always been in the banking/financial sector. However, for some time now the company has expanded its range of action including companies in the healthcare, logistics, telecommunications and retail sectors. Among the latter, Conad stands out, for which the Euronovate Group has recently carried out a project that has led to the digitization of credit card issuance to pay for purchases.
Previously, the procedure was totally manual: those wishing to have a credit card filled in a sheet, which was scanned and, together with a photocopy of the documents, placed in an envelope. All requests were collected in a folder and sent once a week to the headquarters for a definitive check. Eventually, they were shipped to the credit card company. The whole process took over a month.
The project implemented by the Euronovate Group instead envisages that, using a tablet, the NFC chip of the electronic identity card (Cie) is read and the form is automatically filled in with the already verified data. Again using the tablet, the person signs and the digital document thus obtained is sent directly to the company that issues the credit card. If you don't have the Cie yet, a particular scanner allows you to OCR the paper identity card, obtaining the same result. The time to complete the procedure has been reduced to a few minutes and all those steps that could be a source of error have been eliminated.
