Euronovate Solution for the digitization of the vaccination campaign

Euronovate established a partnership with Nabacom, systems integrator active in the Information and Communication Technologies, for the digitalization of the vaccination process, affirming itself as a leading company for digital transformation.

This digitization process interested the ASL Avellino, to whom Euronovate provided its electronic signature module, carried out with the ENSIGN 11 graphometric tablet using the ENSmartSign software, within the Nabacom GEVO project.

Implementation in the ASL Avellino: benefits and case of use

This solution allows the coordinated and digitized administration of the entire vaccination process: from the reservation on the portal to signing consent documents and anamnesis form.

Euronovate solutions are used during the documentation signing step, which is necessary for the injection: privacy consent and anamnesis form. At the vaccination hub, the patient, doctor and nurse fill out and sign directly on the ENSIGN 11 tablet without the need for printed paper.

The solution is also implemented for home vaccinations for those unable to go to the hubs. By using a Windows tablet-PCs, the patient and staff fill out and sign documents in pdf format downloaded from the regional portal.

The outcome

The GEVO project, combining the technologies of Nabacom and Euronovate, has made it possible to significantly speed up the entire vaccination process, reducing waiting times for patients and improving interoperability with the regional Sinfonia portal. Moreover, the project keeps documents in digital format for storage in accordance with the law from the compilation to the signature process.

The procedure optimization significantly reduces the use of dedicated staff in the individual vaccination hubs; while ensuring greater protection of patients' personal data without compromising the user's signature experience: the graphometric signature is in fact very similar to the handwritten one; therefore also suitable for those who do not always have devices at hand to receive passwords via SMS or email.
